Inside Third Wave Mercantile

Third Wave Mercantile is an artist and makers collective located in South Seattle’s historic Georgetown Trailer Park Mall. We offer a unique collection of vintage and thrifted clothing, in addition to locally made and thrifted goods and fine art. We are proud to represent our resident artist's wares out of a vintage Argosy trailer.

Seattle creatives, Brit Bedford and Kylie Waibel met through mutual friends in the service industry in 2006.  Throughout the years, they have continuously bonded over their shared work and interest in the restaurant and bar culture, a deep, mutual respect and passion for travel, and their shared need to create. Their entrepreneurial spirit helped Third Wave take flight and they hope to watch their business grow for many years to come!

Our shop's name is a reference to the third wave feminism movement that helped define our formative years. Our passion for lifting other women up has, and always will play a leading role in our mission statement. Third Wave Mercantile aims to be an all-inclusive, welcoming community of artists, celebrating art from all walks of life. We are open every weekend at the Trailer Park Mall and around Seattle with Pop Up events so come and visit us and support local art!
